Jim began his radio career 50 years ago this year starting at 99/KTKT-Tucson. He continued on to other stations including 93.7 KRQ, 94.9 Mix-FM, COOL 92.9, K-HIT 107.5, KIIM-FM, and 1063. The Groove to name just a few. Through the year’s developed several request & dedication shows including the COOL Class Reunion Show, 70’s Saturday Night, The Saturday Night Party Jam & Your Classic Pop Connection. All very successful request and dedication shows!

He also started Bednarek’s Music Works DJ service for Weddings, Corporate Parties, Class Reunions, events of all types. This includes being an experienced Wedding Day Coordinator & Wedding Officiant for 40+ years. Currently booking events for the 2026 year.
